The identification method of mica powder

It is very simple to discriminate  Mica powder,there are several ways:
         First of all,the whiteness of mica is not high,is probably around 75;currently in the market the quality of mica powder are different,and to find a good supplier,is not easy.If a customer require the mica whiteness is about 90,under normal circumstances,mica whiteness is generally not high,only about 75.If doped with other fillers such as calcium carbonate,talc powder,white degree will be greatly improved.
         Secondly,due to mica powder is flaky structure,in a beaker,add 100ml of pure water,stirring with a glass rod,that of mica powder suspension is very good;other filler comprises a transparent powder,talcum powder,calcium carbonate and other products,no mica powder with excellent suspension.
         Thirdly,get a little mica,applied to the wrist,there will a little pearl effect;mica powder especially sericite powder,can show a pearlescent effect,and it is  widely used in cosmetics,paints,plastics,rubber and other industries.If it is Poor mica pearlescent effect or no pearl effect,it should be not real mica.
