Lanxess announced that they will built a new iron oxide pigment plant in Ningbo

German specialty chemicals group LANXESS announced the construction of a high-tech&high-quality iron oxide red pigment factory in Ningbo Chemical Industry Zone,in order  to expand its global inorganic pigment production network.The  investment  of the plant is 55 million euros,the initial annual output will be 25,000 tons,and needs 150 new jobs.Factory plan began to be used in the first half of 2015, will be constructed in the second quarter of this year.

Ningbo is belong to Zhejiang Province,China's second largestcargo port.The new factory is located in Ningbo Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone (NPEDZ),anarea is about seven hectares.LANXESS also earmarked another piece of land of the same size,as the preparation of the future expansion purposes.Ningbo Chemical Industry Zone has excellent infrastructure and logistics system,the largest liquid chemical terminal is located here.The Lanxess Ningbo plant will use state-of-the-art,the sustainability of the the Penniman process to produce high quality iron oxide red pigment.

LANXESS yellowish phase red pigment Bayferrox (Bayferrox) which is a world-renowned brand sales to major customers from the paint as well as construction and plastics industries.LANXESS Jinshan factory is China's largest and one of the most modern iron oxide pigment factory.Plant has an annual output of 38,000 tonsof high quality iron oxide yellow and iron oxide black pigment.

LANXESS Inorganic Pigments (IPG) business unit annual production of more than 350,000 tons,is one of the world's leading manufacturers of iron oxide and chromium oxide pigments.The center of the global production network in Krefeld, Germany-Uddin root.Inorganic Pigments business unit has nearly 1,300 employees, is part of LANXESS Performance Chemicals business segment.
