New paint additives can be used for architectural coatings

Recently,Jiangsu University developed a modified nano cuprous oxide coating additives,it can be used as architectural coatings and other fields.The additive using chemical precipitation Preparation of Nano cuprous oxide particles and cuprous oxide nano particles of 3-(methacryloyloxy) propyl trimethoxy silane (TMSM) of the prepared organically modified modifier.the process has simple,low-cost production advantages.

The nano cuprous oxide particles in the visible light photo catalytic oxidation, added to conventional paints,suitable for indoor decoration materials release formaldehyde,benzene,ammonia and other poison gases as well as the various fungi,viruses,fumes from gas,freon,Freon instead of removal,mildew,sterilization, deodorant,clean indoor air and other significant advantages.
