First,coloring carbon black

Pigment carbon blacks generally could be used for coloring plastics can be selected according to the the coloring characteristics or the physical and chemical properties of carbon black pigment,coloring carbon black varieties to choose basically with the finished product must meet the blackness.Require special high coloring blackness can be done with very fine carbon black pigment;PE garbage bags,plastic bags,cable materials and the products,only a moderate level of blackness can be lower than the surface area,the higher structure carbon black varieties;plastic palette,carbon black when weighing and batching tiny error will lead to a clear color,therefore,should adopt a larger particle size,poor color strength low carbon black pigment,so black loading can slightly large,weighing error is relatively small and dispersed better advantage of lower prices.

For gray plastic,using fine-grained carbon black pigment often presented relative to gray-brown,while the use of coarse particles,carbon black pigment blue phase gray.

Compared with other organic pigments,carbon black,in addition to dispersion more difficult,other properties are preferred.Scientific compounding amount of carbon black,can provide good antistatic or conductive.The carbon black is substantially non-toxic,but easier flying and contamination,Guchang masterbatch form used for the plastics industry,in eliminating pollution at the same time also improve the dispersion of the carbon black in plastics.

Second,the application of UV protective

The carbon black in the plastics industry is one of the purposes of the anti-UV aging,due to the carbon black has a higher light absorption,which can effectively prevent the plastic generated photooxidative degradation by sunlight irradiation. Carbon black as the role played by the ultraviolet light stabilizers in the plastic are: the conversion of light energy into heat energy;to protect the plastic surfaces from a certain wavelength ray irradiation;interception atomic group to produce anti-aging effect,thereby preventing the catalytic degradation.Particularly harmful UV polyolefin tests prove that when the concentration of carbon black in a certain fineness the perfect UV shielding effect of up to two percent.

Carbon black UV aging of the protective effect on the plastic,depending on the particle diameter of the carbon black,the structure and surface chemical properties. The particle diameter of the carbon black is small,because the surface area increases, the absorption of light or the light-shielding ability increased,so the UV protective effect enhanced,but the particle size smaller than 20nm,its protective role tends to the same level,the reason is that when the particle size is too hrs backscatter decreases,and continue forward light will threaten the stability of the polymer.

The structure is low,i.e. gathered body size is small,due to the geometric volume of the aggregates is smaller,will enhance the protective effect on the polymer,and this is also a lower structure carbon black darker reasons.

The surface of the carbon black-containing groups more volatile higher,can eliminate the decomposition of the polymer produced when the gene,so the protective effect is also enhanced.
