Producting the High-end API may get out of the industry difficulty

In recent years,the production and operation of enterprises are affected because of the unstable production costs,the unstable price of drugs and high environmental standard.The appreciation of RMB lead to the advantage of API's export price is losing,the export pressure of low value-added API and intermediates.Therefore, producting the high-end API may get out of the industry diificulty.

China's industrial transformation is perticularly urgent with the challenges of declining export amount and grim international situation.From 2011 to 2016,there are many drugs facing patent expiration,but these drugs will bring more than 250 billion dollars.Brand drugs's patent expire promote the generics development,then the demand of special API will increase.

Although the special API's share is smaller than the general API's,the growth rate far exceeded the latter.The export amount of special API is 1.067 billion dollars with a growth rate of 11.23% and some products such as atorvastatin's growth rate is even doubled in the first half of this year.If the drug companies succeced in transformation and carry out the value chain rising,the succesful potential is limitless.
