The threshold of titanium dioxide industry will be increased substantially

"Titanium dioxide industry access" revised edition isexpected to substantially increase industry access threshold.Insiders said,"titanium dioxide industry access" revisions still waiting for aformal introduction,but the program has been developed based on the currentsulfate process titanium dioxide business scale of not less than 50,000 tons/year,single (factory) capacity shall not be less than 30,000 tons/year;chloride process titanium dioxide business scale of not less than 60,000 tons/year,in-line production capacity of not less than 30,000 tons/year.

Industry sources said the program is also proposed to prohibitneither titanium resources can be developed,and no new areas of resourceallocation sulfate,titanium dioxide production moved into the sulfuric acidprocess system;must follow the "titanium dioxide industry emissionstandards" for emissions from various waste disposal and emissionsstandards;access conditions applicable to domestic existing,underconstruction,the proposed titanium dioxide (sulfuric acid process,the chloride process,hydrochloric acid method process) production enterprises.

It is reported that in 2013 the recent annual meeting of theNational titanium dioxide industry will be held,is expected to announce "titanium dioxide industry access" revisions and "titaniumdioxide industrial pollution control technology policy" manuscript.
