Ningbo Inspection and Quarantine Bureau today released the news said, on 30th of June, 2015 37/2015/TT-BCT issued by the Ministry of Commerce and industry of Vietnam in November of the year 2015.The announcement of the transitional period will officially end, from July 1 onwards, exported to Vietnam's textile formaldehyde and from azo dyes and aromatic amine content must meet the new requirements for concentration limits.
Under the new regulations, the textiles in the Vietnamese market ,the non complete processing of the yarn and the wool embryo material, textiles for use in children younger than 36 months, formaldehyde residues should be less than or equal to 30 mg / kg (mg / kg), for direct contact with the skin of the textile, residual formaldehyde amount should be less than or equal to 75mg / kg, non skin contact Textiles, residual formaldehyde amount should be less than or equal to 300 mg / kg, aromatic amines in textile residues shall not exceed 30mg / kg.
Worthy of the attention of enterprises, the products obtained from other countries certificate, and eco labeling such as Oeko tex only for file verification, not as conform to the Vietnamese standards certificate.
It is understood, formaldehyde and disabled azo dyes is common in textiles harmful chemicals, textiles such as the presence of excessive formaldehyde, direct contact with the skin can cause dermatitis, pigmentation etc., recurrent aspiration a small amount of formaldehyde, can cause chronic poisoning symptoms. Some of the azo dyes in the textile and the human skin after long-term contact, will form a carcinogenic aromatic amine compounds, induced by human body lesions.

Due to its relatively low labor costs and location advantages, has attracted from China, Korea, Japan and France, and other textile enterprises. According to the EU RAPEX bulletin, as of May this year, there are more than the export of children's clothing, gloves because of the release of aromatic amines containing azo dyes and was recalled. Inspection and quarantine departments to remind the majority of textile export enterprises and timely to study and understand instructions related to the exporting country requirements, strictly in accordance with the new requirements to provide qualified textile; strengthening technical research and development, improve production processes, strengthen quality control, foster new competitive advantage; pay attention to market trends, strengthen risk prevention capacity, to avoid because exporter changes in policies and regulations, market volatility leads to loss.
