Paint knowledge: acrylic emulsion coating product classified introduction

Acrylic emulsion paint is divided into three kinds in the respect of film material:one kind is pure c coating,it is used acrylic copolymer emulsion for film material,its performance is best,but the price is higher.The second is benzene–c,it is styrene and acrylic monomers of copolymer emulsion for film material.The third is a b-c,it is vinyl acetate and acrylic monomer copolymer emulsion for film material.Last two are cheaper than pure c.According to the use requirements,acrylic paint have interior and exterior wall coating,can be divided into 3 kinds,they have light, smoothing and matt.Because pure polyacrylic emulsion is expensive,so copolymerization type is given priority to for polyacrylic metope paint.

1.Benzene-acrylic emulsion paint

Propyl benzene outer wall and inner wall paint are all use benzene-emulsion as binder,but packing proportion is different,the ingredients are different.Exterior wall coating performance requires high and packing scale are lower,but still need to cooperate with some special additive,the price is higher.

The minimum film-forming temperature of benzene-acrylic emulsion paint is high,the construction shall not be lower than the average temperature 10℃. Benzene-c light emulsion coating can be used for doors and Windows coating,tough and firm,the luster is moderate.Flat paint and matt coating are used in metope,make metope appears soft and format.

2.Room temperature crosslinking type benzene-acrylic emulsion paint

This kind of coating film material will happen in the crosslinking reaction in the drying process.General benzene-acrylic emulsion coating film material of glass transition temperature is higher,the coating hardness and stain resistant property is good,but must be in high temperature,namely,the minimum film-forming temperature is higher.If reduce glass transition temperature,will reduce the minimum film-forming temperature,hardness,stain resistance will drop too.But if the film material can happen crosslinking,hardness,stain resistance can be improved,so that it can used under the low temperature construction and have good hardness and stain resistant property.

3.High pigment volume concentration benzene-acrylic emulsion paint of the wall inside

The paint contains very high concentrations of color packing,so the cost is very low,but the coating still has certain mechanical strength,resistance to a certain degree of wet rub,can meet the performance requirements of interior wall coating.

4.B-acrylic emulsion paint

Use vinyl acetate and acrylic monomer copolymerization emulsion as basic material.And compared with benzene-acrylic emulsion coating,the water resistance is poorer,but the cost is low.
