Export Situation of Pharmaceutical Industry is Not Optimistic

According to report,the total scale of pharmaceutical industry will reach 1.8 trillion RMB this year,the average profit at the level of 10%.Thereinto,the pharmaceutical industry will achieve the sales scale of 900 billion.In the industry segmentation,biological medicine has the highest profit margin which reaches 15%. Traditional Chinese medicine has 11% and bulk pharmaceutical chemical has 9.8%. Chemical drug has the lower profit margin.

Concerning the trend of development,export situation is still not optimistic. From January to October this year,the growth of pharmaceuticals industry in our country is 7.8%.Because of demands of foreign market is going down,the long-term order is changing to short-term order,and short of new customer,leads the costs of enterprises rising rapidly and operational risk increasing.

Moreover,the threat to our country's medicine export from India is growing. See from the second half of this year,export of pharmaceutical industry in China has entered the difficult times.Apart from a small proportion of enterprise which has completed industrial upgrading can achieve span-cycle growth.However,most of enterprises which have not get ready would face the difficulty that is harder than 2009.

With the low tide of development of this industry,more powerful enterprises put their aims to overseas market. Up to now,over 40 Chinese medicine enterprises have made investment in America.In some areas of America,there are soft terms for foreign pharmaceutical enterprises in aspects of drug approval and market admittance.
