Export of bulk drugs grows slowly and the trade structure to be adjusted
2013.12.26 08:54In 71st Suzhou API exhibition on Nov 14th,China chemical association,experts Shen Yinji reported the first half of China's pharmaceutical import and export data and said that:"Throughout the first half of the marketing,import and export is totally stable.As faced many difficulties,the situation sholud be treated from various factors.Bulk drugs industry is struggling in the international market,mainly reflected in overcapacity,manufacturing costs rose quickly,the RMB exchange rate constraints,increasingly stringent international regulatory aspects.On all accounts,industry transfermation must be started now."
The data show that "exports of bulk drugs into the second plateau from 2012 to 2013,the requirement space of low-end bulk drugs is nearly saturate in international markets and the policy of high-value bulk drugs is more stricter.The reports show that total export amount is equivalent to 76% of last years' in the first three quarters of year,which indicats that the annual export amount growth will less than 5%;the total imports amount is equivalent to 86% of last year,which indicates that the annual import amount growth will be 10%.
The overall situation of China's exports of bulk drugs is advancing in the challenge,companies must focus on industrial upgrading,changing and adjusting the structure of foreign trade and strive to stabilize the "Made in China" overall share in the global market.
