         In the year of 2013,the printing and dyeing industry met some problems during the steady upgrading,such as the increasing of labor cost,the enhancing of environment requirement,the downturn of market demand,the product homogeneity and so on.To face these problems,what steps did the industry do,what performance did the industry get?What should we do to boost the sustainable development of the industry in 2014?
         Recently,the president of the China Dyeing and Printing Association Zhihua was in an interview by the "Textile and Apparel Weekly" reporter,said that in the past year,printing and dyeing industry got rapid development,energy-saving and emission reduction achieved remarkable results.In the new year, printing and dyeing industry need to strengthen energy coservation and emission reduction through technological and management innovation for further enhancing the overall strength of the industry.
         Energy conservation work is paying off
         "From January to November in 2013,the production fell 2.47% in the cases,the printing industry's main income increased 8.19%,22.09% increase in profits."
         "Although facing a variety of pressures,the achievements of  printing and dyeing industry was obviously to all in the past year's" Chen Zhihua said.
         In recent years,printing and dyeing industry developed fast,science and technology has improved continuously,advanced equipment increased year by year,the proportion of value-added products has also been significantly improved.
         In terms of technology,printing and dyeing industry has achieved many breakthroughs in clean production technologies,energy saving technologies,product quality improving and technical aspects.Industry obsolete the outdated equipments that are with high energy and water consumption,poor stability step by step.Increase the equipents that can save energy,water and protect environment. Improve the level of automation of equipment.
         In terms of equipment,more and more advanced equipemenrts emerge,such as continuous and efficient pre-treatment processing equipment,small bath ratio dyeing machines,automatic distribution systems and laboratory mashing automatic drip systems,digital printing machines.They improve the industry's efficiency and effectiveness greatly.
         In terms of additional value of product,the products's quality of printing and dyeing industry continuously improveed,good quality fabrics products emerged in endlessly,printing and dyeing fabric export value increased year by year,they all enhance the control of China's textile industry value chain.

         Chen Zhihua said dyeing industrial wastewater discharge is mainstream.According to data released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection,currently printing and dyeing industrial wastewater discharge rate is over 96%.A number of energy-saving emission reduction technology in the industry was widely applied,such as silk light alkali recycling rate is over 80%,continuous width washing technology promotion back frame by frame rate is over 90%,the rate of waste heat recovery technology promotion is more than 70%.
         Technological and management innovation reach the level
         "The entire printing industry is the key aspect in the textile industry chain,it is directly related to the development of the textile industry,if you give up about printing and dyeing industry,the overall advantages of China's textile industry will be gone."
         We need to strengthen the innovation capacity building,rely on technological innovation and management innovation to promote the healthy development of the Printing and dyeing industry for further enhance the overall strength of the industry,including raising the level of product safety and environmental protection industries.
         "Emission reduction work must be done,which is a prerequisite for the development of the industry,but the industry adjust upgrade is imminent,which mainly includes the adjustment of product structure and marketing model.Enterprises should use the view of industry chain development to make the transformation,and focus on improving the material procurement,product development,marketing level."Chen Zhihua said.
         In the last 30 years,China's textile industry has became the industry internationally competitive advantage,they are hard-won achievements.Printing and dyeing industry is the key to the whole textile industry chain,it is directly related to the development of the textile industry.
