Third Session of the Sixth General Assembly of the Ningbo Chemical Industry Sub-Council of CCPIT Held Successfully
The third session of the sixth general assembly of the Ningbo Chemical Industry Sub-Council (Chamber of Commerce) of CCPIT was held at the Radisson Hotel on January 11, 2017. More than 80 people attended, including representatives of member companies, members of the sub-council's expert technical committee and representatives of partner associations. Chai Lida, President of the Ningbo Council for the Promotion of International Trade; Lu Zhimeng, Deputy Director of the Ningbo Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee; and Lin Keyu, former Director of the Ningbo Economic and Information Technology Commission and Honorary President of the sub-council, were among the officials who attended and addressed the meeting.
President Yuan Junjie delivered the work report, reviewing the achievements and shortcomings of 2016, analyzing current conditions, and setting out the direction and priorities for 2017. The report was substantive and offered fresh thinking, providing clear objectives for the year ahead.
The meeting also heard the previous year's financial report, read by Deputy Secretary-General Yuan Biao, and the supervisory board report presented by Chair of Supervisors Wang Dedao. Members voted unanimously to appoint Yuan Biao as Secretary-General of the sub-council.
The meeting was practical and efficient, completing all items on the agenda. It was followed by a New Year reception, where business leaders and guests gathered to exchange greetings and share their hopes for the year ahead.
