High temperature grades
For plastics
Grades stated up to 250°C and 280°C for masterbatch, injection and blow molding at high process temperature. Tell us the polymer and we name the series.
Pigments & Colorants · Fluorescent Pigments
Transcor fluorescent pigments in five series, HK, HP, HT, HW and HX, for plastics, printing inks, coatings and water based systems, with heat resistance stated by series, from 160°C up to 280°C.

Product detail
Fluorescent pigments absorb part of the light, including UV, and emit it back at a longer wavelength close to their own hue. That extra emission makes them brighter than any conventional pigment. They show best over a white ground and lose punch when mixed with off-shades. The brochure lists five series, HK, HP, HT, HW and HX, with heat resistance grades stated from 160°C up to 250°C and 280°C.

Solvent and general purpose
Bright grades for printing and screen inks, paints and general coloring, where the white ground and the shade matter more than process temperature.
Aqueous · custom matches
Grades for aqueous binders and specialty uses, in any shade on the card. Where the card falls short, the division makes a custom match from the sample you send.
Where it goes
Pigments that absorb light, including part of the UV, and give it back at a longer wavelength close to their own hue. The eye reads that extra emission as a color brighter than any conventional pigment can reach. They perform best over a white ground.
A fluorescent dye locked inside a solid resin, then ground to pigment particle size. The resin decides the heat resistance and the solvent behavior, which is why our card sorts the HK, HP, HT, HW and HX series by system and by temperature, from 160°C to 280°C.
Daylight fluorescent, neon or safety color. On a technical sheet the term is daylight fluorescent pigment, to separate it from phosphorescent products that keep glowing after the light goes out.
A fluorescent powder answers to UV while the lamp is on, and our daylight fluorescent grades do exactly that. A powder that keeps glowing in the dark after the lamp goes off is phosphorescent, a different product that we do not supply.
High visibility plastic parts and masterbatch, labels, packaging and poster inks, screen inks, safety marking paint, toys, stationery and textile printing pastes. Send a sample of the shade you need and the division matches it, water based systems included.
