Ink grades
Blue 15:3 HD-801 for offset sheet fed, heat set and cold set. HD-810 for water-based inks, HD-B2G for NC, PA and PU solvent inks. Blue 15:4 HD-4000s, low viscosity, no crystallisation. Green 7 HD-G.
Pigments & Colorants · Phthalo Blue & Green
Phthalocyanine blue 15:0, 15:1, 15:3 and 15:4 and phthalo green 7 and 36, made by Choksi Colours and imported by Hongda. Grades sorted by ink, paint and plastic use, each one matched to the DIC, Clariant, Ciba or BASF standard it replaces.

Product detail
The brochure sorts every grade by end use and lists the equivalent multinational standard, the Choksi standard, the system it is meant for and its character: shade direction, strength, gloss, dispersibility, flow, crystallisation and heat.

Blue 15:3 HD-810, green shade, high strength and gloss, good flow. Blue 15:4 RC-7101F, non-crystallising, non-flocculating, heat resistant. Green 7 HD-G, general purpose. Green 36 for powder coating.
220°C to 350°C
Alpha blue 15:0 HD-6850P for EVA, rubber, PBT, PA, PS and PC at 220°C. Blue 15:1 RC-2721 at 280°C. Blue 15:3 RC-7090 for PP, PE, ABS masterbatch at 250°C. Green 7 HD-8730K at 280°C, green 36 at 350°C.
Where it goes
Printing inks, paints, coatings and plastics. It is the standard clean blue: high strength, light fastness 7 to 8 and heat resistance from 200°C to 350°C depending on the grade. In our range it goes into offset, water based and solvent inks, industrial and powder coatings, and PP, PE and ABS masterbatch.
Same pigment, shorter name. Both mean copper phthalocyanine, C.I. Pigment Blue 15. The number after the colon is what matters commercially: 15:0 alpha, 15:1 stabilized alpha, 15:3 beta green shade, 15:4 non-crystallizing beta.
Copper phthalocyanine, built from a phthalic derivative, urea and a copper salt. The crystal form is what separates the grades, and it decides shade direction, crystallization resistance and heat stability.
The one that matches your system. 15:3 HD-810 for water based inks and paints where you want a green shade with gloss. 15:4 for inks and coatings that must not crystallize or flocculate. 15:1 RC-2721 for plastics at 280°C, 15:0 HD-6850P for EVA, PBT, PA and PC at 220°C.
3204.17 covers it, as a synthetic organic pigment and preparations based on it. Your broker adds the local suffix. Give the pigment team the grade and the destination port and the exact code goes on the proforma.
