Weak acid range
A parallel yellow-to-black card, from Yellow TB to Black NB-G, dyed closer to neutral pH. Trades some levelling power for steadier wet fastness, most washing figures 4 to 5.

01Can an acid dye color polyester?
No. Polyester has no amino groups for an acid dye to bond to and takes a disperse dye instead. Hongda supplies that under the Dragonperse name.
02What acid goes into the dye bath?
Formic acid for the acid range and a milder acetic acid bath for the weak acid range.
