Cobalt blue BL-84 to BL-51 and cobalt green G-4G to G-6G resist warpage in polyolefins; iron chromite brown BR-854 and BR-859; two black chemistries, one IR-reflective to cut heat build-up, one IR-absorbing.
P.Y.184
Y100, Y101 and Y106, a green-shade to reddish yellow with high tinting strength and, on Y101, a silica shell for extra heat and acid resistance in plastics.
Buying it right
Buyers who search for a colorant mineral usually need color that survives sun, heat, alkali or a kiln. Each mineral family handles a different mix of those conditions.
Hongda covers the mineral side in three families. Iron oxides for opaque earth tones, ultramarine blue stable to 350°C for plastics and alkaline uses, and TRANSDUR mixed metal oxides rated to 1200°C.
TRANSDUR grades carry light fastness 8 and weather fastness 5 in the brochure, with C.I. Pigment number and particle size. The pigment team helps you choose the family by process and exposure.
The partnership
Support
Samples, datasheets and technical answers come straight from the team that makes the product. Formulation advice, matching against your current reference and follow-up after delivery are part of the partnership, included from the first order.
Supply
You buy at origin, in the quantities a distributor needs to stay competitive in its market. Volume pricing, consolidated shipments and production planned around your forecast give you the economics to defend margin against any local reseller.
Experience
Documentation, logistics and compliance are routine here after three decades of cross-border trade. Hongda exports to more than 30 countries and works with over 500 distributors worldwide, so the paperwork your market requires has most likely been solved here before.
Product
Seven registered brands, from Dragon Dyes to Chemtech, all backed by Hongda's in-house R&D teams. Dyes, pigments, additives and functional chemicals come from the same group, so you can widen your catalogue while keeping a single supplier.

Questions

In practice, yes. The term covers pigments built on metal oxides and minerals, such as iron oxide, ultramarine and mixed metal oxides.
TRANSDUR mixed metal oxides, calcined above 800°C and rated for heat up to 1200°C, are the family listed for building materials and ceramics.
Ultramarine blue carries EN71-3 for toys, and TRANSDUR grades test under 2ppm stomach acid solubility. Ask for the certificate that covers your end use.
Yes. Both come from the same pigment division and ship together from Ningbo.
Where it ships from
