Buying it right
Every phthalocyanine blue color is copper phthalocyanine, Pigment Blue 15. What changes between grades is the crystal form, and that decides the shade, the crystallization risk and the heat a grade can take.
Hongda's range covers all four forms. 15:0 and 15:1 are the alpha forms, redder in shade; 15:3 and 15:4 are beta forms, greener, with 15:4 stabilized against flocculation.
For plastics, 15:0 HD-6850P runs at 220°C in EVA, PBT, PA and PC, and 15:1 RC-2721 at 280°C. The pigment team suggests the form for your system.
The partnership
Support
Samples, datasheets and technical answers come straight from the team that makes the product. Formulation advice, matching against your current reference and follow-up after delivery are part of the partnership, included from the first order.
