On March 7, 2015, HONGDA experienced one of those moments that stay with a company for years.

In the Parliament Building in Islamabad, the Speaker of Pakistan's National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, received Chairman Yuan Junjie. The Speaker's message was simple and sincere: he praised Chairman Yuan for his years of contribution to Pakistan-China trade.

Pakistan and China are not ordinary trading partners. They are iron brothers, nations bound by decades of friendship and mutual support, and trade between them has always carried the weight of statecraft, not just commerce. For a Chinese business leader to be received inside the Parliament, by the Speaker himself, was a sign that HONGDA's work had become part of something larger than business.
