Bridging Global Textile Chemical Cooperation Through Platform Power: The 2026 Textile Chemical Summit
On April 16, 2026, the Shanghai Expo Tongsen Hotel hosted the 2026 Textile Chemical Technology Innovation and International Trade Cooperation Summit, organized by the Chemical Industry Sub-council of the CCPIT Ningbo Sub-council and co-hosted by Shaoxing Haicheng Chemical alongside several materials and equipment companies, including HONGDA Group. As the sub-council's chairman unit, HONGDA was involved throughout the summit's planning and organization, and Chairman Yuan Junjie took the stage to declare it open.
Held alongside the 25th China International Dye Industry, Organic Pigments and Textile Chemicals Exhibition, the summit set out to move past the limits of a traditional trade show floor. Drawing on the sub-council's network, HONGDA focused the event on technological innovation, green development and global trade cooperation, aiming to turn exhibition traffic into real orders. "Chinese and foreign enterprises need not only product displays, but precise, sustained and trustworthy matchmaking mechanisms," Yuan Junjie said in his opening remarks. "As the chairman unit of the sub-council, we have the responsibility to build that bridge."
The summit built a Belt and Road textile chemical trade matchmaking zone for one-on-one closed-door negotiations, where HONGDA helped bring in core buyers from Pakistan, Ghana, Peru, Turkey, Brazil, India and Indonesia to meet domestic dye and auxiliary makers. More than 100 overseas buyers held face-to-face exchanges with mid-tier Chinese printing and dyeing enterprises, with HONGDA sharing its own experience across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa, from local certification to logistics and payment.
On policy, HONGDA proposed an overseas expansion strategy built on regionally customized products and compliance first, drawing recognition from industry representatives across several countries. Eight speakers from research institutes, international buyers and leading chemical companies took the stage to cover industry data, market practice, green technology and global expansion.
"The summit lasted only one day, but the cooperation has just begun," Yuan Junjie said in closing. "HONGDA Group is willing to work with partners at home and abroad to sow the seeds of technological innovation and green development in every important market."
