Chairman Yuan Junjie Joins China Dyestuff Industry Association President Shi Xianping on Research Visit to Gansu
On July 30, 2021, Yuan Junjie, President of the Ningbo Chemical Industry Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chairman and General Manager of Ningbo Hongda Import & Export Co., Ltd., accompanied Shi Xianping, President of the China Dyestuff Industry Association, on a visit to Gansu Province to study the development of the local dye industry and its pollution control practices. The delegation was warmly received by Gansu Tianchen Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. and other organizations.

At the working session, Yao Xiaoli, Chairwoman of Gansu Tianchen Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd., gave a detailed overview of the infrastructure and industrial development of the province's main chemical parks. From an environmental protection standpoint, she outlined both the advantages and the constraints of building a chemical industry in Gansu.
President Shi Xianping offered specific guidance during the visit. He noted that as the dyestuff market matures, national industrial policy takes hold and environmental regulation tightens, green, environmentally sound and differentiated dye products serving mid- to high-end demand will define the industry's future. Gansu has the fundamentals to develop a dye industry, but healthy growth there requires stricter, deeper and more detailed work on ecological protection and remediation, always guided by the principle that clear waters and green mountains are invaluable assets.
Yuan Junjie used the trip to lead an intensive round of visits to 12 companies, including Inner Mongolia Guocheng Resources Comprehensive Utilization Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Huaao Chemical Co., Ltd. and Wuwei Hecai Chemical Co., Ltd. He also met with government leaders in Urad Rear Banner and other localities to gain a first-hand understanding of production and operating conditions, regional industrial planning and investment promotion policies, with the aim of bringing back useful information that can help member companies of the Ningbo Chemical Industry Council expand their scope for growth.

The delegation was warmly welcomed at every stop. The vast grasslands, the modern chemical plants with their towering columns, the open and generous character of the local people, and the rapid pace of development across China's western regions all left a lasting impression.
