Chairman Yuan Junjie Joins Delegation Visit to the Jinchang Industrial Park
From May 6 to 12, Chen Lirong, Vice Chairman of the China Dyestuff Industry Association, Executive Deputy Director of its Organic Pigment Committee and Chairman of Zhejiang Lily Group Co., Ltd., the A-share listed organic pigment producer, led a delegation of companies and research institutes to Jinchang, Gansu Province, with a focus on the city's industrial park.
Yuan Junjie, President of the Ningbo Chemical Industry Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chairman and General Manager of Ningbo Hongda Import & Export Co., Ltd., took part in the visit. The delegation was warmly received by Jinchang Party Secretary Zhang Yongxia, Mayor Wang Jun and other local leaders. Over several days, the delegation reviewed the park's master plan and construction progress in detail and toured the industrial park and its surroundings.
After hearing briefings from municipal and park administration leaders and from Yao Xiaoli, chief environmental planner for industrial parks in western China, Chairman Chen Lirong shared the delegation's views and recommendations. He praised the practical, results-oriented approach of the city's leadership, expressed confidence in the park's future and voiced strong interest in investing significantly in the west and taking part in the development of the Jinchang Industrial Park. He also offered several suggestions on industrial layout to accelerate and improve the park's build-out. Jinchang's leaders agreed with these points and praised the vision and commitment shown by Chen and the other business leaders, expressing hope that the delegation's advanced thinking, capital strength and technical capabilities would combine to speed up development of the park and contribute to the development of western China.
During the trip, the delegation also visited the Red Army Gulang Campaign Memorial Hall in Wuwei, deepening their appreciation of the centenary of the Party's founding and their sense of mission and responsibility toward national revitalization.
