Chairman Yuan Junjie Leads Visit to the Liuchuan Industrial Park

On March 1, at the invitation of the management committee of the Liuchuan Industrial Park in Jingyuan County, Gansu Province, Yuan Junjie, President of the Ningbo Chemical Industry Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chairman and General Manager of Ningbo Hongda Import & Export Co., Ltd., travelled to Jingyuan County with representatives of several member companies to review the park and its surrounding area.

The park plans to build a fine chemicals zone and gave the visit high priority, receiving the delegation with considerable openness. After a briefing from the park's management committee and a tour of the development site, Yuan Junjie shared his views and recommendations on how such a zone should be planned and built. In his view, the current shift of fine chemicals production from south to north is far more than a change of geography: it is an upgrade. A fine chemicals zone should set its sights high, adopt demanding standards and ambitious goals, and plan its layout around the principles of a green and circular economy. Only then will it attract more entrepreneurs to invest. The park's leadership agreed and immediately invited Yuan to serve as an advisor to the park, an invitation he was glad to accept. He said he would follow the park's development closely and do his utmost to help with external promotion and market development, making a tangible contribution to the development of western China.
