By 1996, HONGDA was ready to paint on a bigger canvas.

Polyester was booming. Global demand for synthetic fabrics was rising, and with it, the need for high-performance disperse dyes. Once again, HONGDA saw an opportunity to lead, and once again, we seized it.

We became the first company to introduce Disperse Black EX-SF to China's polyester market. This product wasn't just another dye. It offered superior dispersion stability, deeper blacks, and better performance in high-temperature dyeing, exactly what the market needed.

But we didn't stop at one product. We teamed up with Zhejiang Runtu and Longsheng, two respected names in the industry, to develop a full range of disperse dyes and intermediates. Together, we built capacity, improved quality, and expanded our reach.

Then came the boldest move of all: we began exporting disperse dyes to Europe and the USA.

Think about that. A company from Ningbo, Zhejiang, was now coloring fabrics worn in Paris, New York, and beyond. We were competing in markets that had historically been dominated by European and American chemical giants. And we were winning.

We weren't just building a business. We were making a great contribution to Chinese dye enterprises, proving that China could produce world-class products, compete globally, and earn the respect of international customers.
