Company Attends Free Trade Zone Bank-Enterprise Roundtable on Pandemic Response and Growth
On the afternoon of March 20, the Free Trade Zone administrative committee held a bank-enterprise roundtable on responding to the pandemic and supporting growth. Director Yan Rongjie attended along with leaders from the zone's economic development, finance and investment promotion bureaus, together with representatives of key companies in the zone and of local banks.

Director Yan Rongjie chaired the meeting. He reported on the overall status of pandemic response and the resumption of operations, listened carefully to the specific situations and problems raised by the companies present, and worked through the issues with them to identify solutions. He also presented and explained the policies the administrative committee has introduced to help companies resume work, and department heads answered questions from company representatives about how those policies would be implemented.
Discussion centered on how to address the funding shortages companies face as they restart operations, with banks and businesses each offering their perspective, ideas and suggestions. Our General Manager Yuan Junjie also spoke, noting that the support policies introduced by the administrative committee and the meeting itself came exactly when they were needed and once again showed the practical, efficient approach the committee's leadership has consistently taken toward the concerns of local businesses, for which he expressed respect and gratitude. He said that although Hongda, like other companies, has met with difficulties, it is confident that with the support of the zone's leadership it can overcome them, accelerate the full resumption of operations and do its part for social stability and economic growth in the zone. He also suggested ways to make the support policies work better for trading companies. Director Yan took these points seriously and asked the relevant departments to study the issues and suggestions raised as quickly as possible, and to refine their work so as to provide more precise and effective support to companies resuming full operations.
