By 2001, HONGDA was ready to take our pigment business to the next level. And we found the perfect partner, not in Asia, not in Europe, but in Brazil.

Brazil is a major player in the global coatings and inks market, with deep expertise in high-performance pigments. We partnered with a Brazilian company, Transcor, to develop and market Transcor high-performance pigments for the paint and ink industries.

This partnership was different from our earlier collaborations. It wasn't about importing a product or learning a technique. It was about co-creating something new for global markets. Transcor pigments were designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern coatings and ink: vivid color, exceptional durability, environmental compliance.

Through this venture, HONGDA gained access to South American technology and markets. Our partners gained access to Asia through our networks. Together, we built something neither could have achieved alone. The best partnerships are not about what you take. They are about what you build together.
