Delegation from the Jinzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone visits Ningbo
On May 18, 2022, a delegation led by Zhang Teng, director of the management committee of the Jinzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, visited the Ningbo Chemical Industry Trade Promotion Association for talks on cooperation between chemical companies in the two cities. As chairman member of the association, our company hosted Director Zhang and his delegation.
The two sides held discussions on the morning of May 18. Ye Huayu, vice president of the Ningbo Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Xi Weida, former deputy director of the Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone, attended as invited guests, along with business representatives from vice-chairman and council member companies including Ningbo Shenhua Group, Ningbo Beilun Rubber Park and Ningbo Sanxin Hydrogen Peroxide Co., Ltd. President Yuan Junjie chaired the meeting.
Zhang Teng, director of the Jinzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, together with Wu Jinsheng, director of the Longqi Bay Area Administration, and Yu Yang, director of the zone's economic cooperation bureau, introduced Jinzhou's geography, history, culture and economic and social development, focusing on the development zone's location advantages, business environment, investment opportunities, growth prospects and attractive investment incentives. Li Zhi, general manager of Zhejiang Xinkai Technology Group, who joined the delegation, described his company's experience of building a plant in the zone and spoke highly of its location, industrial supply chain, government services and business culture.
After listening to the presentations, Vice President Ye Huayu and Mr. Xi Weida outlined Ningbo's economic and social development, its industrial profile and the priorities that matter most to local entrepreneurs when making investment decisions, and offered specific suggestions on the Jinzhou zone's master plan, industrial layout and investment promotion approach. The business representatives present also spoke about their companies, growth plans and investment philosophy.
President Yuan Junjie welcomed Director Zhang and his delegation, introduced the Ningbo Chemical Industry Trade Promotion Association and praised Jinzhou's location advantages, investment environment and incentive policies.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited the management committee of the Ningbo Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone for a working exchange with Jin Zhiwei, deputy director of its investment cooperation bureau, and colleagues. The discussion was candid, practical and relaxed.
At the close of the visit, Director Zhang thanked the trade promotion officials and business leaders of Ningbo for their hospitality, praised the professionalism, original thinking and results evident in the development of the Ningbo Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone, and said he was pleased with what the visit had achieved. He invited President Yuan and Ningbo entrepreneurs to visit Jinzhou at their convenience. President Yuan gladly accepted and said he would work actively to promote complementary cooperation between the chemical industries of the two cities.
