General Manager Yuan Junjie Attends the Sixth Meeting of the Eighth Council of the China Dyestuff Industry Association
On June 28 and 29, 2021, the sixth meeting of the eighth council of the China Dyestuff Industry Association was held in Penglai, jointly hosted by Penglai Jiaxin Dyestuff Chemical Co., Ltd. and Penglai Xingguang Pigment Co., Ltd. Shi Xianping, President of the China Dyestuff Industry Association, attended along with council member companies from across the country. Yuan Junjie, Chairman and General Manager of Ningbo Hongda Import & Export Co., Ltd., attended as the representative of a newly appointed council member company.
President Shi Xianping, together with Zhang Shansheng, Chairman of Penglai Jiaxin Dyestuff Chemical Co., Ltd., and Zheng Hongyu, Chairman of Penglai Xingguang Pigment Co., Ltd., extended a warm welcome and sincere thanks to the industry veterans, association leaders and delegates in attendance.
The meeting reviewed the association's 2020 work report, discussed priorities for 2021, presented the 2020 economic performance of the dyestuff industry and the 14th Five-Year Plan, provided an update on the 21st China Interdye exhibition in Shanghai, covered the economic performance and development plans of the textile printing and dyeing sector, and examined the new conditions facing the economy in the post-pandemic period along with possible responses.
Delegates agreed on the shared goal of revitalizing the national industry, promoting the orderly and healthy development of China's dyestuff sector, and further strengthening the leading position and international competitiveness of Chinese dyes.
During the meeting, President Shi Xianping also introduced Ningbo Hongda Import & Export Co., Ltd. to the delegates. He commended the company's 30 years of persistent work in developing overseas markets and its contribution to bringing Chinese dyes to the world, and expressed the hope that, amid the complex and shifting conditions created by the pandemic, Hongda would continue to apply its innovative approach and professional expertise, leverage its channel strengths and make further contributions to helping China's dyestuff industry grow stronger through change.
The meeting also confirmed that the 2021 China Organic Pigment Annual Conference would be held in Zhoushan on August 25, hosted by the Shanghai Coatings Association with the Ningbo Chemical Industry Council as co-organizer.
