General Manager Yuan Junjie Speaks at the 21st National Training Program on Organic Pigment Technology and Applications

From October 13 to 16, 2020, the 21st National Training Program on Organic Pigment Technology and Applications was held in Shanghai. The program was organized by the Organic Pigment Committee of the China Dyestuff Industry Association and jointly hosted by the Shanghai Coatings and Dyestuff Association and the Ningbo Chemical Industry Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

More than 150 industry experts and technical staff from over 100 domestic companies took part. The program addressed key topics and current issues in organic pigment technology through instruction, discussion and exchange, with a strong practical focus. Mr. He Koubao, President of the Shanghai Coatings and Dyestuff Industry Association and a professor-level senior engineer, presented on the current state, challenges and three-year goals of Shanghai's new materials sector, while Professor Shen Yongjia, doctoral supervisor at East China University of Science and Technology, presented on the structural design and clean production of yellow azo pigments. Other well-known industry experts, including Chen Xinhua and Hao Zhimin, also taught sessions that broadened participants' perspectives and knowledge.

The program also featured a presentation by Yuan Junjie, President of the Ningbo Chemical Industry Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chairman and General Manager of Ningbo Hongda Import & Export Co., Ltd., titled "Technological Innovation Takes Chinese Organic Pigments to the World." His detailed material, extensive data, concrete cases and rigorous analysis drew considerable attention and were widely praised, adding a notable highlight to the program.
