Hongda Group Joins Industrial Park Development Project in Nigeria
After extensive preparation and repeated on-site assessments, Yuan Junjie, Chairman and General Manager of Hongda Group, recently traveled to Nigeria for in-depth and productive talks with local Chinese-invested partners and relevant institutions on a joint industrial park project. The discussions concluded with a signed letter of intent and the launch of the first project phases. Phase one, covering dyeing and printing operations, is already under construction, while phase two, covering building materials, is currently in planning.

In recent years, stronger industrial upgrading policies and the deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative have led many Chinese companies to look abroad. As Nigeria's business environment continues to improve, the country has attracted a growing number of investors. As an integrated trade and manufacturing company with years of experience in the region, Hongda Group was not going to let the opportunity pass. Partnering with a strong Chinese-invested company to build the industrial park allows Hongda to establish an early foothold, pool resources and combine strengths in branding and market channels, laying the groundwork and building a platform for broader expansion across Nigeria and the wider African market.
