Investing in the Future: The Zhejiang Pigment Factory

By 2006, HONGDA's pigment business had grown beyond what our existing facilities could support.

We were selling pigments for coatings, inks, and specialty applications. Demand was rising. But we were constrained by capacity. We could either limit our growth, or invest in it.

We chose to invest.

We built a new pigment factory in Zhejiang province. This was a major capital project: land, buildings, equipment, environmental systems, and a skilled workforce. It was a statement of confidence in our pigment business and in the future of the industry.

The new factory wasn't just bigger. It was better. Modern production lines. Advanced quality control. Improved environmental performance. It allowed us to produce higher-quality pigments, in greater volumes, at competitive costs.

This investment also positioned HONGDA as a serious long-term player in the pigment market. Customers who had worried about supply security now saw a partner with the capacity to grow with them.
