Investment delegation from Jiangling County visits our company
On the afternoon of August 26, 2022, an investment delegation from Jiangling County, Hubei Province, led by Fang Wenqiu, member of the county government's leading Party group and director of the Economic Development Zone, visited the Ningbo Chemical Industry Trade Promotion Association. As chairman member of the association, Ningbo Hongda Import & Export Co., Ltd. joined the association's secretariat in hosting the visitors, and the two sides held practical talks on how to advance complementary cooperation in the chemical sector between the two regions. Song Yuchi, president of the Ningbo Free Trade Zone Private Enterprise Association, also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, delegation head Fang Wenqiu described Jiangling County's geography, history, culture and overall economic and social development, with particular emphasis on the county's distinctive strengths in new energy and new materials, especially coal chemicals. He also presented and explained in detail the county's unusually generous investment incentive policies.
President Song Yuchi and Shen Youping, secretary general of the Ningbo Chemical Industry Trade Promotion Association, welcomed the delegation warmly. President Song said there is considerable room for cooperation between the two regions in coal chemicals and related fields, and that Ningbo entrepreneurs could be organized to visit Jiangling for on-site discussions and to explore joint opportunities when appropriate. Secretary General Shen Youping introduced the association and expressed strong interest in Jiangling County's location advantages, resources, investment environment and incentive policies, saying she hoped businesses in both regions would cooperate on the principle of complementary strengths and mutual benefit. Representatives of Hongda Import & Export Co., Ltd. and of the Ningbo Rubber Industrial Park, a vice-chairman member, each presented their companies, operating philosophy and investment interests.
The two sides also exchanged questions and information on practical matters such as hazardous chemicals operations, and agreed to act on the understandings reached as soon as possible in order to promote substantive cooperation between chemical companies in both regions.
