Ningbo Chemical Industry Council Technical Committee Meets at Our Company

On the afternoon of April 21, the Ningbo Chemical Industry Council for the Promotion of International Trade held a meeting of its Technical Expert Committee in the conference room of Hongda Group, the council's chair company. Yuan Junjie, President of the council and Chairman and General Manager of Ningbo Hongda Import & Export Co., Ltd., attended.

The meeting focused on adjusting the committee's membership, appointing a new chair and deputy chairs, and putting forward a direction for the committee's next phase of work for discussion.

Wu Taobo, newly appointed committee chair and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, set out the committee's priorities: building an innovation platform for member companies, organizing training in scarce technical and specialist skills, hosting industry development forums, and visiting member companies regularly to help solve production and technical problems.

Participants welcomed the fact that the committee's membership is becoming younger and more highly qualified, expressed confidence in its next phase of work, and said they would apply their individual expertise, take an active part in committee activities and provide whatever support they could to member companies.

In his closing remarks, President Yuan Junjie said he was pleased with the improved structure of the committee and paid tribute to the senior experts who have quietly devoted themselves to Ningbo's chemical industry over many years. As the council's chair company, he said, Ningbo Hongda Group will invest more effort in supporting the committee's work and will draw on the resources it has built up in the industry to help the committee expand its activities and increase its influence.
