The First, and the Conference That Made History
Then came 1994, a year we still talk about.

At that time, the Chinese market relied heavily on conventional reactive dyes. They worked, but they had limitations, especially in dyeing efficiency and colorfastness. The world was already moving toward bifunctional reactive dyes, which offered better performance, deeper shades, and more reliable results. But no one in China had brought them to market yet.
HONGDA decided to be first.
We became the first company to introduce Bifunctional Reactive Dyes to the Chinese market. It was a risk. The market didn't know these products yet. Customers needed education. Competitors watched closely. But we believed in the technology, and we believed in our ability to deliver it.
The timing could not have been better. That same year, HONGDA hosted the China-Korea Dyes Conference in Ningbo. Delegates from both countries gathered to discuss trends, share research, and build relationships. The conference wasn't just an event. It was a statement. HONGDA wasn't just participating in the industry. We were shaping the conversation.
In the hallways and banquet rooms of Ningbo, partnerships were formed and ideas exchanged that would influence the Chinese dye industry for years to come. And at the center of it all was a company barely two years old, already acting like a leader.
