In 2005, HONGDA entered a new era of technical collaboration.

We partnered with Germany's Bayer company to develop Tanatex textile auxiliaries, a respected name in textile chemistry, carrying decades of German engineering and formulation expertise.

This was not just another distribution agreement. It was a meeting of two worlds. Germany brought precision, advanced formulation technology, and a deep understanding of textile chemistry built over generations. HONGDA brought market knowledge, distribution strength, and an intimate understanding of what Chinese textile mills actually needed. Together, we created something neither could have achieved alone.

Because textile manufacturing is a complex, multi-step process. Each stage, from pretreatment to dyeing to finishing, requires precise chemistry. The wrong auxiliary can ruin a batch. The right one can elevate quality, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.

Tanatex products were not ordinary auxiliaries. They were high-performance solutions, designed to solve specific problems in the textile process. They improved wetting, enhanced dye penetration, reduced foaming, and optimized finishing. They gave mills the technical edge they needed to compete in an increasingly demanding global market.

Through this partnership with Bayer, we developed a range of Tanatex textile auxiliaries that gave Chinese mills access to world-class process technology. We weren't just supplying products anymore. We were helping our customers improve their own operations: reducing costs, increasing yields, and delivering better fabric to their own customers.

That same year, we achieved another milestone: ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification. The first confirmed our quality management systems. The second confirmed our commitment to environmental responsibility. These weren't just certificates. They were proof, to our customers, our partners, and our own team, that HONGDA operated at an international standard.
