Thirty Years Strong: Hongda's 30th Anniversary Annual Meeting

On January 13, 2023, HONGDA's annual meeting arrived coinciding with the company's 30th anniversary, part business review and part coming-of-age ceremony: a look back at the road traveled, and a question about the road ahead.

Department heads took the stage to review the past year's work, sharing gains, losses and lessons learned alongside plans for 2023. After listening, General Manager Yuan Junjie delivered a closing speech, extending New Year greetings and noting how, after the easing of pandemic restrictions, everyone had come to feel just how precious an ordinary peaceful life truly is.

Chairman Yuan placed HONGDA's thirty-year journey against the backdrop of China's reform and opening-up, drawing conclusions that had guided the company from the start: that the fate of individuals and companies is tied to the fate of the nation, that everyone encounters their own cycle of opportunity in life, and that summarizing the past matters only so the company can move better into the future, using thirty years of accumulated resources while clearing away what no longer serves it.

The evening turned to recognition and celebration: outstanding employees received trophies and prizes, a lucky draw brought laughter, and the "HONGDA 30 Years, Figures of the Era" ceremony called up staff from every era of the company's history to be honored in turn. As dusk fell, the annual dinner began amid toasts and songs, and Xinjiang guests danced to a lively drumbeat that carried the celebration to its peak. At thirty, HONGDA stood firm, ready for the next thirty years.
