The Birth of a Dragon
For six years, HONGDA had been a company of products: first this dye, then that intermediate. But we hadn't yet become a company of identity.

That changed in 1998.
We began an intensive study of textile chemical markets, not just in China, but around the world. We analyzed what customers wanted. We examined how the best brands built trust.
We created the Dragon brand, a name that carried the weight of Chinese heritage and the ambition of global reach. But a brand is more than a name. So we built something bigger: the Dragon Quality System and Standard.
This wasn't just a marketing exercise. It was a complete rethinking of how we operated. Every product would be measured against Dragon standards. Every process would be documented, controlled, and improved. Every customer would know that when they saw the Dragon mark, they could trust it, absolutely.
The market responded. The Dragon brand gained recognition quickly, and HONGDA became one of the most famous companies in China's dye industry. We had transformed from a manufacturer into a brand people believed in.
