The Partner Who Opened a Door
A year later, we did something that would define who we are: we looked outward.

It would have been easier to stay insular, to focus only on the domestic market. But HONGDA's leaders understood something crucial: to grow, you must be willing to learn from those who know more. So they set their sights on Korea, a nation whose dye technology was far ahead of China's at the time.
That year, HONGDA formed a partnership with Korea's APPLO Company and introduced their advanced Direct Black EX dyes for cotton fabrics to the Chinese market. This wasn't just a product launch. It was a transfer of knowledge, of formulations, application techniques and quality standards, that elevated what Chinese textile manufacturers could achieve.
Behind the scenes, there were long negotiations, cultural differences to bridge, and countless technical conversations. But the result was worth it. For the first time, HONGDA's name was associated with international quality.
And more importantly, we learned how to partner, how to combine our local expertise with global innovation. That skill would serve us again and again.
